Free Learn to Skateboard Class

Basic skills and knowledge to get started in skateboarding! All ages.

5th Avenue Southeast

Service Description

Absolutely no experience necessary! If you have a helmet, pads and/or skateboard, bring them; otherwise email me to request loaner gear. We will be cover: -Anatomy of the skateboard -Safety basics -Stance and balance -Body dynamics -Pumping -Turning Also, get any questions about gear selection, practicing at home and any other skateboard related questions you might have. Parents will need to be present to support your child(ren), especially in case of large class size. Teens are a possible exception on a case-by-case basis, contact me if your teen is wanting to be independent in this activity. Registration and waiver release is required to participate, we will have paper versions if you are unable to do it online.
